All of our garments are made with only the best natural fibres and our designs are internationally inspired. We are very passionate about natural fibres and its qualities and that is why we use pure linen and cotton as far as we can.

Pure linen draws heat away from the body, keeping you cooler in the warmer months and gives warmth during the cold months of the year. It has great heat conductivity. In an Unwind garment you’ll always be comfortable and fabulous!

Hi! I’m Stefanie, the founder of Unwind Linen. 😊

My favourite part of a long day is when it’s all over and I get to jump in the shower and get dressed comfortably. If I could spend most of my day dressed like this I would. This inspired me to create something that a person can sleep in, but still feel comfortable to lounge in outside of the bedroom. An all-in-one luxury and timeless garment for women of all ages.

My designs are inspired by all my fellow unwinders who also love to dress comfortably.

How it’s made

Linen needs some extra tender love and care before it can be made into a garment. The fabric gets pre-washed in lukewarm water, dried and ironed before it can be sewed into perfection. Once the garment is made, it is steamed and packed to be sent to your front door.

Depending on your location and the order amount, the standard lead time for this process and courier is usually around 5-10 working days. With all great things in life, we have to wait a bit longer to get it, but once we do, it was usually totally worth the wait. Every garment is sewn to perfection, personalised with embroidery (if requested) and made with 100% natural fibres.

Why Linen?

Linen is one of the most sought after of the plant-based fabrics and it has many amazing qualities like:

• Linen can absorb up to 20% of its weight in moisture. It draws heat away from the body, keeping you cooler in the warmer months and gives warmth during the cold months of the year. Linen clothes will retain the heat from your body and release the excess, making you feel cosy and comfortable.
• Linen is a very strong fabric and that makes it durable and abrasion resistant.
• Linen is lightweight, breathable, cosy and feels great on your skin.
• Because of the natural flax, it is the better fabric choice for people struggling with allergic reactions.
• Since linen is made of flax, it will reduce or eliminate the static electricity effect.
• Linen clothes will not lose their shape after washing, in fact, they will become softer and more pleasant to the skin over time.
• Linen doesn’t need to be ironed to look good. High-quality linen is wrinkly and those wrinkles are part of its beauty.
• Linen falls under the ‘sustainable fashion’ category, because the flax plant (what linen is made of) is sustainable. Flax plants are very resilient, it can grow in poor soil, and requires very little water. Also, every single part of the flax plant is used in making all types of products. Linen is also recyclable and biodegradable.
• Our linen sleepwear is designed to have a loose-fit (a very linen-like style) and this makes it perfect for people of all ages, sizes, and shapes.
